TexasLawHelp.org is a one stop, online resource for free and low-cost civil legal assistance and legal aid for those who cannot afford legal help.  Learn about your rights, self-help resources, and legal aid. Volunteer Legal Services


Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas (VLS) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in May 1981 by a small group of people dedicated to helping the overflow of low-income individuals seeking help from the local legal aid office. VLS provides legal assistance and legal help for guardianship cases for qualified individuals. VLS is based in Austin, Texas.







LRS Match Program


The Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) of Central Texas administers the Match Program. The Match Program provides reduced-fee legal services to those with a modest income who may not be able to afford regular attorney fees. The Match Program is available for family law matters, guardianship cases, and drafting simple wills.
